JANUARY 2025 ANIVERSARIES

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved member, Henry C. Tucker, who went home to be with the Lord earlier today. He had been battling illness for some time and had relocated to be with his children in Texas.

Henry was a cherished part of our church family, and his faith and love for the Lord and Mt. Vernon Ave. had been an inspiration to many. We extend our heartfelt condolences to his family during this difficult time. Let us keep them in our prayers for comfort and strength.

The family is in the process of finalizing the arrangements and will notify us when details are confirmed. We will share this information with you as soon as it becomes available.

Let its remember the words of 2 Corinthians 1:3-4: “Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all troubles.” May the Lord’s peace surround the family and all who are grieving this loss.
